Step 4 of 6: Chorus Rehearsal and Meal Preferences Form
    Picture

ONLY THE PRESIDENT / TEAM LEADER / CHORUS CONVENTION CHAIR SHOULD COMPLETE THIS FORM.   The Housing Liaison for the 2020 Regional Contest is Melody Turner  /   mrandmrst1956@gmail.com. She is  your contact before and during contest for any extra rehearsals, your Saturday morning rehearsal, and the optional Saturday meal. Please be sure to review the content below for detailed instructions.

    1.  In the webform below, indicate your chorus' preferences for an extra rehearsal, your Saturday rehearsal, and an optional Saturday meal.

    2. The Orders of Appearance will be drawn on March 2, 2020.  After this date, Melody will begin the process of slotting times for rehearsals and meals (if indicated).  Shortly thereafter, you will be notified of your scheduled times and locations. In most cases, locations will be based on where the majority of the chorus is staying. Choruses will have 45 minutes for rehearsal and 45 minutes for a meal on Saturday, with approximately 15 minutes between each.

    3. PLEASE NOTE:  For choruses choosing to have a Saturday meal (you can have a breakfast or lunch, depending on your draw), you are  responsible for DIRECTLY contacting and making those arrangements and payments   with the DoubleTree Hotel or The Centennial Hotel.  You may call as soon as you wish--but no later than March 22--to make your meal arrangements.
         •         DoubleTree Hotel:  Tammy Lease /   Tammy.Lease@hilton.com  /  Direct line 509-744-2310
          •       The Centennial:   Mary Jean Jacob   /   mjacob@thedavenporthotel.com   /   509-598-4317

If you have any questions, please contact  Melody Turner at   mrandmrst1956@gmail.com    / 360-572-4440.

    Chorus Contact Person
Please share below the contact information of the person responsible for arranging breakfasts and rehearsals. (* = required)
Eligibility for Novice Director Award (below): Chorus director must meet the following criteria: a) Competing as a director for the first time ever in any barbershop (BHS, SAI, HI, etc) contest; b) Score higher than any other Novice Directors; and c) achieve a minimum of 400 points.

    Rehearsals
    Extra Chorus Rehearsals
Every chorus is allowed ONE extra rehearsal outside of the 45-minute rehearsal allotted on contest morning. Please indicate your preference to the right.

         •       Available extra rehearsal times are   Thursday    or   Friday;   no rehearsals are scheduled during regional events.    Rehearsal rooms are typically located in your hotel and DO NOT have risers.
          •       Extra rehearsal times are assigned based on first come, first served  basis.
         •       The length of the rehearsal time will be in proportion to the number of choruses requesting rehearsals at that time.
          •       You will receive notification identifying time and location for the rehearsal approximately two weeks in advance.
          •       Please be prompt for arrival and departure. If you arrive late, you must still leave at your scheduled time so the next chorus can enter the room.

    Saturday Morning Rehearsals
         •       Every chorus is allowed a 45-minute rehearsal on contest morning. Some choruses choose to add a breakfast or lunch onto their rehearsal time.
         •       All choruses will be given a 45-minute rehearsal on Saturday morning, scheduled in order of appearance.
         •       Choruses can also book (and pay for) a 45-minute meal held back-to-back with the rehearsal.
         •       Please indicate at right which option your chorus prefers on Saturday.
