Contest Checklist for Quartets and Choruses
1, 2, 3... Follow the steps below to make sure your convention registration is successful.
Competing Quartet Checklist
First things first!
1. Is your quartet registered and in good standing with Sweet Adelines? That is the very first step!
2. After you get the email from SAI that says registration is open for our contest, register for this year’s quartet contest and submit the contest registration fee to them.
3. Make sure that your quartet music is legal to perform. If you have any questions, call Sweet Adelines International’s office (800.992.7464) and ask for Katie Grassmyer.
Register with Region 13
1. Check out the schedule for our convention/contest weekend, and then make your hotel reservations and travel plans. Be sure to check the convention schedule so you arrive before the Quartet Briefing!
2. Submit the Regional Quartet Registration form on this website after gathering and confirming details such as:
a. Contest song order and details
b. Purchasing a flash drive with your performance (there won't be CDs this year; only flash drives)
c. Your eligibility for the regional Novice Quartet or Most Improved Quartet Awards
d. Information about your quartet for our webcast team
Order your All Events Tickets
1. If your quartet members are all part of a chapter, purchase AETs for your quartet through that chapter.
2. If all of your quartet members are CAL, purchase AETs through the CAL Liaison.
3. If some of your quartet members are non-Region 13 members, they will also need to purchase an AET, either through a chorus or individually on this website; more info here.
Miscellaneous things to do
1. Visit the Photography webpage, download the Quartet Photo Order Form, fill it in ahead of time, decide a pose (also ahead of time!), and bring your order form and check with you into the traffic pattern.
2. You can order ads and/or shout outs for the program here. Deadline for ads/shout outs to be received is Monday, April 18.
3. Remember to plan for your "walk across the stage" time and to attend the quartet briefing. Check the Convention Schedule webpage for information.
4. If you ordered flash drives with your performance, you can pay for them online here, or send a check to Danie Stiles, Region 13 Finance Coordinator / 16408 NE 180th PL / Woodinville, WA 98072.

2. Payment can be made on this website with a credit card, or by mailing a check to Danie Stiles, Region 13 Finance Coordinator / 16408 NE 180th PL / Woodinville, WA 98072.

a. The completed "master" Chorus Photo Order Form, along with a check for the total amount
b. Two (2) completed and signed copies of the SAI form "List of Competing Members"
c. The Open Division Cue Sheet, if your chorus is competing in Open Division.
