    Quartet Regional Registration Form

Regional registration is the process by which we get all the miscellaneous information we need about each competing chapter.   ONLY THE QUARTET CONTACT SHOULD FILL OUT THIS FORM; one per quartet!

If you've done this a few years in a row, you'll notice we have removed the webcast section this year. That information will be collected separately; you will be notified about it in a timely manner.

After you submit the following information for your quartet, be sure your quartet members are all signed up for an All Event Tickets. For quartet members, this should be done through affiliated Region 13 chapters or with Andren Moyer, our Alternate Membership Liaison, depending on your member status. CAL members  can  order with any "regular" chapter if they wish, so feel free to register with your friends or quartet-mates' chorus(es)!

A quick overview of the 6 quartet registration steps:
Step 1:  SAI begins to take Entry Forms on January 10 for Region 13 quartets.  Before registering with Region 13 on this page, complete yourEntry Form with Sweet Adelines International and pay their $100 contest fee before February 24, 2020 (late entry deadline--with a higher fee--is March 10, 2020 deadline). The easiest and fastest method is to do this online, although SAI will also accept faxed Entry Forms  .   Click here for SAI's quartet competitor page.
Step 2:  Make sure you have followed copyright clearance requirements.   Click here for copyright FAQs.
Step 3:  Complete the Regional Quartet Registration Form (see below).
Step 4:  Order a contest video, if desired    (see below).
Step 5:  Pay for your performance flash drives!  Do this after you've completed Steps 1-4.
Step 6:  Make sure you   get an All Events Ticket, either through your chapter or with the Alternate Membership Liaison, Andren Moyer.

And a general tip!   Be sure to   read everything offered by SAI on their website,  small print included! Forms change from year to year, with more duties being handled online and/or electronically. Don't miss out because you haven't read the details.

Step 1 of 6:  Have you registered with International?
WHY:  All competing quartets must first submit an Entry Form with  Sweet Adelines International. Competition information was emailed to Quartet Contacts on January 10.
    WHO DOES THIS:  Quartet Contact

WHEN:  Quartet entries must be submitted to International by   February 24, 2020    to be included in the initial draw for order of appearance.  After that date, the late registration fee is $250 with the final/late deadline to register being March 10, 2020.

Deadline for completing Steps 2-5:  Monday, March 23, 2020
Step 2 of 6:  Are your songs ready?
COPYRIGHT CLEARANCE:   Sweet Adelines International requires that only copyright-cleared music be sung at regional competitions. If you have a medley of songs, you must include the information   about   each song, no matter how short the excerpt. Do not presume any song is in the public domain or that your parody is okay; check to be certain.   Please read this Copyright Matters  document     from SAI. In our high-tech, online world it is best to ask permission before using altered material or posting anything.   If you have additional copyright questions, contact   music@sweetadelines.com.
