Chorus Registration - Convention Coordinators
For Convention Coordinators , Team Leaders/Presidents, or Finance Coordinator
Registering for competition with Sweet Adelines International begins on February 3, 2023. Only the Team Leader/President or Financial Coordinator will be able to sign in and register for a chorus; only the Quartet Contact can register for a quartet.
Then, after you've successfully registered your chorus with Sweet Adelines International, chapter convention chairs also need to register with Region 13. This provides us with information we need for each competing chorus, copyright verification, the song list for the Panel Secretary and more!
Regional Registration is due April 10, 2023.
Choruses will need to provide their own badge holders and lanyards. 4" x 3" for a horizontal (landscape) badge

Please note that the entry deadline for our region is March 21, 2023 . If you register for competition after the entry (60 day) deadline, you will have an additional $100 fee added onto your registration. As well as the late fee, your chorus will not be entered into the initial draw for order of appearance, drawn March 27, 2023, but rather in a secondary draw two weeks later (after the late entry deadline).
No entries will be accepted after April 5, 2023 deadline - no exceptions!
Remember: Only chorus presidents/team coordinators, directors, or treasurers can register a chorus (or prospective chorus) for competition at the International level.

- Copyright Information: Sweet Adelines International is strict regarding copyright regulations for all music performed at our contests. Be sure you are compliant. Copyright Matters & Copyright & Licensing are valuable resources
- Song Assessment Information: Prior to performance, all competitors are required to receive an “Admissible” rating through the Song Assessment Tool for all songs they intend to perform. Any song performed in contest that is found to have NOT received an “Admissible” rating will result in the performance being immediately stopped and the performer being disqualified. Be sure to check the Song Assessment Database (SED) for songs that have previously been assessed.

Your chorus will be officially registered with Region 13 after you have filled in the information requested below and pushed the SUBMIT button.
A brief overview of the 6 registration steps:
Step 1: Complete your Sweet Adelines International Entry Form for Regional Competition and pay the contest fee to SAI by March 21, 2023 (late entry deadline--with a higher fee--is April 5, 2023). The easiest and fastest method is to do this online, although SAI will also accept faxed Entry Forms . Click here for SAI's chorus competitor pages. After you complete the SAI Entry Form, return to this page.
Step 2: Make sure your contest songs are copyright approved and have passed the Song Assessment Tool guidelines.
Step 3: Complete the Regional Chorus Registration Form, using the link below. Evelyn Weiss has sent out the AET order information to the Chorus Team Leaders. Order and payment deadline is April 10, 2023.
Step 4: Fill out the Chorus Rehearsals and Meals Order Form (you will be automatically directed here after competing Step 3).
Step 5: Pay for everything (except your AETs)! Do this after you've completed Steps 1-4.
Step 6: Download and complete SAI’s List of Competing Members form, which is available here. Note that this form is now FILLABLE on most PDF programs. Follow the instructions on the form and then email a copy--with as many signatures as you have at the time--to Julia [julielmikulic@gmail.com] by May 14. Additionally, TWO final copies of your Lists of Competing Members--signed and filled in completely--should be handed in at the Chorus Briefing in Spokane DO NOT MAIL THEM TO SAI HEADQUARTERS.
